 The jewelery is all different shades and tints of orange, which makes this a monochromatic color system.

By using a yellow-green shirt, blue-green saucer, and red scissors, in this still life, a split-complementary color system was created.

Because red-violet, red, and violet are all next to each other on the color wheel, this pile of mail exhibits an analogous color system.

Through the many shandes of grey in the umberella, a hard back book, and a dish, an achromatic color system was created.
